Transport
There are regular ferry services from the UK to Caen, Cherbourg and St Malo all of which are less than a 2 hour drive from the holiday house. Dinard airport is just the other side of Mont Saint Michel and is about an hour’s drive away. Easy access to Paris via Granville train station.
Entertainment
For younger guests there is a zoo close by at Champrepus, an aquarium at St Malo and the Reptilarium at Mont Saint Michel. Coutances, Granville and Avranches are all great places for shopping and cafes. Le manoir de Vains is the place for historians to start a tour.
Leisure
The scenic cycle route around the Bay goes past the house so it is an ideal base for a cycling or walking holiday. There are lots of stables in the area so perfect for horse riders too. Golfers and water sport enthusiasts will find a challenge in Granville.
